Color steel arch forming equipment, also known as beamless arch forming machine, arch pressing tile machine, K-SPAN equipment, is a specialized cold bending forming equipment that integrates unwinding, cold bending pressing, arching, shearing, and edge locking. It specializes in producing large-span beamless arch roof panels, and the finished products directly form a self-supporting roof without the need for beams, columns, and purlins.
Equipment composition
- Uncoiler: carrying color steel/galvanized coil, automatic feeding.
- Forming host: Multiple rows of rollers (commonly 14 rows), cold bent into corrugated sections (such as 610/680 type).
- Arch system: hydraulic/mechanical bending arch, set the curvature according to the span.
- Shear device: hydraulic fixed length cutting, accuracy ± 1.5mm.
- Edge locking machine: The arch plates are interlocked and sealed, waterproof and windproof.
- PLC control system: CNC parameter tuning, one click switching of span/radian.
- Mobile trailer (optional): The whole machine is mounted on the vehicle, making it convenient for site transfer.

- Applicable plates: color steel plate, galvanized plate, aluminum zinc plated plate, aluminum plate, 0.6-1.6mm.
- Molding width: 610mm/680mm (effective coverage).
- Span range: 4-30m (maximum up to 48m).
- Forming speed: straight board 15m/min, bent board 12-13m/min.
- Host power: 7.5kW (forming)+4kW (arch bending)+3kW (shearing).
- Roll material: 45 # steel plated with hard chromium, HRC58–62， Durable and wear-resistant.
- Control: Siemens PLC, touch screen operation, parameter memory.
Performance characteristics
- No beams or columns, large span: self bearing structure, eliminating beams and columns, saving steel by more than 30%, with unobstructed clearance.
- High strength and strong disaster resistance: The corrugated shell structure is resistant to wind speeds of 160km/h, earthquakes, and blizzards, with a lifespan of 40-50 years.
- Extremely fast construction: with an average daily molding area of over 1000 square meters, the installation of a single arch frame takes 20-30 minutes, reducing the overall construction period by over 50%.
- Waterproof and well sealed: The arch plate is interlocked with the lock edge, without screw penetration, waterproof and anti-seepage, and maintenance free.
- Flexible mobility: Trailer type can be driven directly to the construction site, and can be equipped with a generator in the field without power supply.
